Terms of Use & License Agreement
These terms govern your use of the My Home Network Early Access digital kit (the “Product”), provided by Jizmo Digital (“we”, “us”), located in Italy . By purchasing, downloading, or installing the Product you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Product.
1. What you are buying
The Product is a digital download kit for self-hosting on your own
Raspberry Pi: an application source tarball, a pre-built Docker image for
linux/arm64, an offline installer script, and documentation. No physical
goods and no Raspberry Pi hardware are included. The Product is Early Access /
beta software.
2. Sales and payment (Merchant of Record)
Purchases are processed by Lemon Squeezy, which acts as our Merchant of Record. Lemon Squeezy handles payment, invoicing, and applicable taxes, and its own checkout terms apply to the transaction. We are responsible for the Product itself and the license granted below.
3. License grant
Subject to payment and these terms, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the Product on Raspberry Pi devices you own or control, for your own private/home use. You may make backup copies for your own use.
4. Restrictions — no redistribution
You may not, in whole or in part:
- redistribute, resell, sublicense, share, or publish the Product or its files;
- upload the kit to public repositories, file shares, torrents, or mirrors;
- remove or alter licensing, attribution, or watermark information in the delivered files;
- use the Product to provide a competing paid distribution of the same kit.
The license is for the purchasing individual or household. One purchase is not a site or redistribution license.
5. Early Access status
The Product is under active development. Features may change, be added, or be removed. Setup currently requires a one-time SSH session (~15 minutes). Support is limited, with a target response within 48 business hours. This is not a finished consumer appliance.
6. Updates
Early Access purchasers receive updates we publish during the Early Access period as described at the time of purchase. We do not guarantee any specific future feature, release cadence, or indefinite update availability.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
The Product is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Product is error-free, secure, or that it will detect every device or event on your network. It is a monitoring/alerting tool and does not block intruders or replace network security controls.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from or related to the Product is limited to the amount you paid for it. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, data loss, or damages resulting from your network configuration, hardware, or third-party services. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer law.
9. Privacy
The Product is local-first: your network data stays on your Pi. See our Privacy Policy for how this website and optional features handle data.
10. Refunds
Because the Product is a digital good delivered immediately, refunds are limited. See our Refund Policy.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Italy, without regard to conflict of law rules, except where mandatory consumer-protection law in your country of residence applies.
